Today is a Christ-centered Tuesday and I want to share the talk I’ve shared last Sunday in our The Feast first live preaching. This empowering message allowed me to see setbacks as a big opportunity in life and not as a reason to falter. Let’s go back to my main question, did you visit the place called ROCK BOTTOM?
A Place Called Rock Bottom
Do you know this place? Well, I will usher you to this place. Fasten your seat belt and let’s go. Rock bottom is the place when you want to grab a knife and cut your veins. It is the time when you wake up in the morning with tears in your eyes and pain in your heart. The time when you don’t have any single cents left but the salary is still a long way. It is the time when your boss shouted on you or fired you. It is the time when your friends turn their backs on you. This is the time when your loved ones left you behind doing your battles alone. This is the place called Rock Bottom. A not so good place I suppose.
Why God Allows it to Happen?
Sometimes, God allows us to lose our health, our wealth or our relationships. Because He knows that the rock bottom is the birthplace of victory. Rock bottom is the starting point of success. And rock bottom is the genesis of revelation. It the time when people are being pressured in order for them to develop the tenacity to overcome their circumstances. It is in this moment when you need to fight more. I believe that the more that we are defeated, the more that we should fight.
Successful People & Rock Bottom
Most successful people have frequently visited this place called rock bottom. And that is the reason why even in the strongest typhoon they are still thriving. A person tested by problems for problems is the strongest among us. They built a stronger wall every time a typhoon of problems destroy their old & weak walls. They use their setbacks to create their comeback. This people mastered the art of transforming their break down into a breakthrough.
Are you in rock bottom?
Do you feel like there is no way out and it is difficult for you to see the light at the end of the tunnel? If yes, I want you to have hope. During this time, God is preparing you for revelations of blessings. God is preparing your best days. If you feel like giving up, I encourage you to fight some more. I know and believe that there is a strength within you that is ready to be unleashed.
Jesus Christ’s Role
When Jesus Christ died on the cross two thousand years ago, He already laid down His perfect plans for you. And His plan is actually perfect. Your destiny is to come out victorious. In the Bible it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know that plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Hold on to His promises and allow Him to manifest in your life. Allow Him to take over in your life by letting His goodness overflows in your lives.
Journey Towards Mountains
And so today, believe that your destiny is to climb that mountain and not be crippled and paralyzed in the deepest part of your life, the rock bottom. If you are weak and can’t stand, you can just try to crawl for the meantime. Then if you regain some strength, try to stand. Then walk slowly, take your time, don’t rush things. Now if you can already walk, then enjoy your journey because finally when you’ll be able to run and climb your mountains, no one and nothing can stop you.
And you will be proud to let the world know that you once visited this place called rock bottom. And the visit you had pushed you to reach the mountaintops.
Your big days are coming! You came to win!
